The blue-grey team wants to end the transfer window with three more top signings.
After their star signing fell through due to Nico Williams’ extension with Athletic Club, FC Barcelona have completely reformulated their plans. The Catalan club have quickly defined three new targets for this transfer window: Denzel Dumfries, Luis Díaz and Marcus Rashford. Each of them addresses specific needs in the playing system Hansi Flick wants to establish based on his experiences in his first season as manager.

Luis Díaz, Liverpool’s winger, has once again been put high on Barcelona’s wish list. Although the English club has refused to negotiate, Barça is not giving up. They hope that a second attempt can provide an opening, especially since the player himself is open to a change of club where he can get a more central role. His explosiveness and dribbling abilities are highly valued by Flick, who wants more unpredictability on the wings.

On the other hand, Marcus Rashford emerges as an interesting option. The English striker is not experiencing his best spell at Manchester United, but his talent is undeniable. Barcelona believe that a change of scenery can give him new life, and his signing will bring experience and flexibility to the attack. There are already preliminary talks, and while a move from Old Trafford won’t be easy, Barça see opportunities – especially if the player himself wants a change.
At the same time, the right-back position is also a top priority. Denzel Dumfries is considered a market opportunity thanks to a €25 million release clause that will be activated in July. The Dutch player, a fixture for both Inter and the Dutch national team, offers strength, running strength and attacking quality – exactly what Flick looks for in his full-backs. The sporting management is following his situation closely, knowing that this award has an expiration date.
Barcelona, with limited financial means, will have to be quick and precise. Dumfries, Díaz and Rashford – represent an ambitious but realistic plan to rekindle enthusiasm among fans and shape Flick’s project further.
