Anthony Elanga flies to Newcastle on Tuesday evening to undergo the medical examination after Newcastle and Nottingham Forest agreed a transfer fee of €60 million.
The amount could potentially rise to €64 million with additional €4 million bonuses introduced towards the end of the negotiations.
The agreement is nearing completion
Although some details of the agreement still need to be clarified, it is understood that the framework for the transition is in place. Newcastle made an offer late last week, and discussions in recent days have reportedly revolved around the payment structure.

Elanga is reportedly very enthusiastic about the opportunity to play for a club that participates in the Champions League. Newcastle landed last season in 5th place in the Premier League and qualified according to new rules and good English efforts in Europe.
