Manchester United have Matheus Cunha and two 18-year-olds in place. It’s no secret that the club is dependent on selling five players in order to sign the much-needed reinforcements before the start of the season. Sky Sports reported earlier this month that Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho have all been given dispensation to not attend pre-season training, where all energy will be used to agree with clubs that are ready to buy. With Sancho there is now movement, but there will be no big sales revenues.
Earlier in the week, Tuttosport reported that Juventus were well on their way to reaching an agreement with both United and Sancho, according to Sky Sports Italia, the Serie A club has come up with the offer that has brought the United management to the negotiating table.

Chelsea committed in the winter to Sancho to buy the winger after the end of the season for £25 million. Down from £73 million United paid Dortmund in 2021. Chelsea chose instead to pay £5 million to avoid buying the United player.
This has probably made the United management realise that the investment in Sancho is lost, now it’s about removing the weekly wage bill of around £250,000 – and taking the transfer fee as a “bonus”.
So what has opened the door for Juventus? According to Italian Sky Sports, the Serie A club has made bids of around 10 million euros, a start that opens the door to reaching an agreement.
