Spanish international emerges as surprising Barcelona alternative to Marcus Rashford
Barcelona are looking to strengthen their attacking line this summer, and it’s no secret that position is their top priority. After missing out on Nico Williams and Luis Díaz who seems like an almost impossible signing, the Blue and Reds are looking for alternatives.
At the top of the list of alternative solutions is Marcus Rashford, who is no longer wanted by Manchester United and is expected to leave the club this summer. The England international is hoping for a move to Barcelona, but sporting director Deco does not seem convinced by the idea. Other potential options that have been mentioned include Antonio Nusa and Rafael Leão.

Barcelona interested in Bryan Zaragoza
But now another surprising option has emerged as a possible candidate to bolster Barcelona’s attack. According to El Chiringutto, Barcelona have been in contact with the agents of Bayern Munich striker Bryan Zaragoza. They see Zaragoza as a potential option on the left wing.
Negotiations for a return to La Liga
Zaragoza have already been in talks for a return to La Liga. Celta Vigo had shown interest in the former Granada player, who is not part of Bayern Munich’s plans. But negotiations have been slow, and there have been no new updates on a possible loan to Balaídos. However, he had agreed the terms with Celta.
The pluses and minuses for Bryan Zaragoza
Barcelona have previously shown interest in Zaragoza, so the idea of a transfer is not entirely unthinkable. Before his €17 million move to Bayern, Barcelona scouted the Spanish international, and last summer there was talk that he could be a loan option for the Catalan side. Zaragoza (23) returned to La Liga on loan last season with Osasuna and showed flashes of great class, especially against Barcelona. However, after an injury in December, he struggled to keep up with one goal and six assists in 28 appearances.
