According to Alfredo Pedulla, Juventus are advancing in negotiations for Manchester United’s frozen out Jadon Sancho.

Juventus have been in talks about Sancho for several weeks, and Pedulla reported on Monday evening that “contact is intensifying” between the Italian club and the player.

Pedulla states that the dialogue between Juventus and Sancho’s representatives is getting “stronger and stronger”, with another direct conversation on Monday.

Sancho has made Juventus his priority destination this summer, and Pedulla claims he is willing to wait for the “Bianconeri”.

Will Sancho come to Juventus?
Manchester United are demanding a transfer fee of €25 million to sell Sancho this summer.

But Pedulla states that Juventus have made it clear that they do not want to pay that much for a player whose contract expires in a year.

Juventus are confident of being able to negotiate a better deal, as no other club is willing to meet United’s asking price either.

Juventus were close to signing Sancho last year, but a loan deal to Torino fell through at the last minute, and the player instead signed a one-year contract with Chelsea.

The “Bianconeri” have now resumed their interest in the English winger and want to see if the conditions are right to finally bring Sancho to Italy.

There is also reported interest in Sancho from Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Sancho will definitely leave Manchester United this summer after returning to the club from Chelsea.

Sancho (25) joined Stamford Bridge last summer on loan from Manchester United with an option to buy.

But Sancho performed so poorly that Chelsea even chose to pay a fine to United to send him back, rather than make the transfer permanent.

Sancho was brought to Manchester United from Dortmund for €85 million in the summer of 2021.

But he has been a big disappointment at Old Trafford.

He scored just 12 goals in 82 appearances for United and was a regular bench player during his stay at the club.

He has had problems off the pitch, and in 2023-24, Sancho was frozen out of the squad by Manchester United.

This happened after then-manager Erik ten Hag publicly criticized Sancho for poor performances in training, which led to the winger effectively calling the manager a liar on social media.

Sancho was not selected again after this episode and was denied training with the first team, as well as using their facilities and canteen.

Ten Hag also deleted Sancho from the team’s WhatsApp group.

United put him on the transfer list and then sent him on loan to Dortmund in January, where he regained some form and helped the club to the Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid.

He then signed for Chelsea last summer, but struggled again.
