It is reasonably obvious that Bodø/Glimt is a natural choice when you want to show off in the big world. – After the Europa League triumph, Norway’s best club has had a bit of a hard time in the domestic series, but after yesterday’s hard-fought win away at the New Fredrikstad Stadium, they are up to 4th place.
Bodø/Glimt have been in Vålerenga (who are really struggling) and brought in 20-year-old Magnus Bech Riisnæs on a transfer worth 2.5 million euros. The midfielder is very happy to be here, which he tells the club’s website: “It’s good to finally be here, I can honestly say that I’ve been waiting for it for a few weeks now, so it’s nice to be here”
What Glimt has been doing in recent years has been very special. I think most people who get the opportunity to do so want to take part in it. Just the whole group, the culture that has been built up here, it’s completely insane”
“It’s been incredibly cool to watch, especially when Glimt have played big games in Europe. I’ve always had the idea that I want to be part of it sometime”
