The Asturian coach thinks he has too many players and can show eleven footballers the exit door.

Despite a brilliant season with titles in Ligue 1, the Champions League and a final in the Club World Cup, Paris Saint-Germain does not stop. According to Le Parisien, the capital club is already working on a comprehensive restructuring of the dressing room that could lead to up to eleven players leaving the club. Luis Enrique, who is pleased with the team’s collective performance, seems to be aware that he needs to adjust some pieces for the future.

Players who are not in Luis Enrique’s plans

Among the players who are not part of the Spanish coach’s plans are Milan Škriniar, Nordi Mukiele, Carlos Soler, Marco Asensio and Randal Kolo Muani. All of these are all but guaranteed a summer departure, as the coaching staff does not want to continue with them. The club has already informed them that they must seek new challenges.

Players who cause doubts in Luis Enrique

On the other hand, there is a group of players whose situation is more unclear: Lucas Hernández, Lucas Beraldo, Gabriel Moscardo, Kang-in Lee, Gonçalo Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma. Although they are not completely ruled out, the sports management will consider serious offers that come in for them. As for the Italian goalkeeper, if he does not extend his contract beyond 2026, he too could be sold.

This elimination operation is not only due to technical decisions, but also PSG’s desire to free up the salary pool and room for new reinforcements. One of the names that is strongly linked to the club to strengthen the defence is Ilya Zabarny – the Ukrainian centre-back from Bournemouth.
