At the beginning of 2025, it was a Danish 16-year-old who gravitated to Aspmyra. Mikkel Bro Hansen quickly got the opportunity with the Europa League finalist, now the Dane has six goals for Bodø/Glimt’s first team. Barcelona has been able to keep an extra close eye on developments. In the past month, Spanish media have linked the teenager to a move to the La Liga giants, but at Aspmyra, the Spaniards are facing a closed door.

Bodø/Glimt’s sporting director Håvard Sakariassen gives Spanish Diario AS the message the media can pass on to Barcelona and other potential suitors.

-You have to be willing to sell before I receive an offer, and when I say that a player is not for sale, I don’t get the offers either. I want Mikkel to stay in Bodø, where he will develop and become a permanent part of the first team, the sporting director begins to the Spanish medium.

“After that, he can move wherever he wants, whether it’s England or Spain, but we’re not interested in a transfer right now, so there’s no reason to make an offer,” says Sakariassen.
