Barcelona are in the process of confirming the arrival of Marcus Rashford after signing a loan deal with Manchester United.

As the saga continues to develop in both the UK and Spain, the latest updates indicate that Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Rashford from United. The 27-year-old attacker has arrived in Catalonia as part of a one-year loan with an option to buy, which is believed to be in the region of €30-35 million. – A sum Barcelona will be able to pay when the “new” and expanded Camp Nou is ready for use.
Barcelona increased their focus on signing Rashford in recent weeks after a varied summer in the transfer market.
Rashford will act as cover for Raphinha on the left side of Barcelona’s attack, after the club previously chased deals for Nico Williams and Luis Díaz. He is expected to arrive in Catalonia and complete the medical test before signing all the necessary documents in the coming days to complete the transfer.
Manager Hansi Flick hopes he can include Rashford in the squad for their pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea, but that remains uncertain at this point.
Despite their financial challenges, Barcelona are willing to finance a transfer for Rashford, with reports from The Times claiming that they will cover his full salary of £325,000 a week as part of the loan deal.
A move away from Manchester has seemed likely since the start of the summer, but Rashford’s former teammate Paul Pogba has commented on the matter to support him.

Pogba has recently returned to football after a suspension and signed for AS Monaco, and the Frenchman believes that Manchester United’s treatment of Rashford has been unfair.
