Now Senator Boyer from the center-right Republican party wants to strip Benzema of his citizenship and take away the Ballon d’Or.
“If, as the Minister of the Interior claims, Karim Benzema is ‘linked to the Muslim Brotherhood’, I am asking for sanctions, in particular the deprivation of his citizenship. Urgent action must be taken against those who constantly threaten our country,” Boyer writes on Twitter and calls for taking away the Ballon d’Or for 2022 from the striker!
