Alejandro Garnacho has 11 goals and 10 assists so far this season, but the 20-year-old has had to see his position as one of the selected building blocks for United disappear. Since Amorim’s arrival, the young winger has had to see full access to playing time disappear, where he found himself on the sell-off list this winter. There could be a move to London this summer, but Garnacho should think carefully before signing.
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown is keeping a close eye on what is happening in the Premier League market, and has an update on Garnacho, while also issuing a warning to the 20-year-old.

-Chelsea’s interest has not disappeared. They wanted him in January and they are still looking to sign a new winger,” Brown tells Football-Insider.
“It’s been talked about for a while that Man United could let Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo go because they want to get money. Chelsea have the foundation of a top team and they are still looking to improve in important areas,” the former United chief scout continues.

Then comes the warning to Garnacho.
“The problem is that you don’t know if Garnacho would come in and be a regular player in that team, because they have so many options out in the open. He will want to play regularly – but look at what has happened to Jadon Sancho there. How many players have they signed with high expectations, who have only been on the fringes (on match day),” Brown says.
