Milan full-back Theo Hernandez is on the verge of a move to Al-Hilal.

The French international reached an agreement with the Saudi giants several weeks ago, and the parties were waiting for the conclusion of the Club World Cup to finalize the transfer.

Milan wanted 30 million euros

Milan demanded €30 million for the 27-year-old, a sum that can be further increased with bonus deals.

The Rossoneri are keen to sell the French defender after they failed to agree a contract extension beyond 2026.

Not part of Allegri’s plans

Theo is formally still under contract with Milan, but he is not part of the squad that starts pre-season under new coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Five years in Milan

Hernandez joined Milan from Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 for €22 million.

During his time at the Italian club, he recorded 34 goals and 45 assists in 262 appearances, winning both Serie A and the Supercoppa Italiana.

Now he is ready for a new chapter in Saudi Arabia under his former Inter coach.
