AC Milan striker Samuel Chukwueze has reportedly travelled to London ahead of a potential loan move to Fulham.
The Cottagers are keen to strengthen their squad before the deadline on Monday, having only made one new summer purchase.
Fulham are hoping to sign Shakhter Donetsk winger Kevin, who is already in London ahead of an expected transfer.
The west London club are reportedly on the hunt for another winger before the transfer window closes, having lost Willian and Reiss Nelson at the end of last season.
Chukwueze travels to London ahead of Fulham transfer
According to Sky Sports News, Fulham are closing in on a deal to sign the long-sought Chukwueze from AC Milan.
The report suggests that the Cottagers want to sign the former Villarreal player on a season-long loan deal.
In a separate update, journalist Pete Rutzler claims that Chukwueze is on his way to London to complete his medical test.
However, Fulham still need to finalise a deal with Milan before they can complete Chukwueze’s move to Craven Cottage before the window closes at 19:00 on Monday.
Who is Fulkam’s transfer target?
Chukwueze scored 37 goals and provided 29 assists in 207 appearances for Villarreal, before completing a move to Italian giants AC Milan in the summer of 2023.
The 26-year-old has played 70 competitive games for the Rossoneri, but he has not been able to establish himself as a regular in the starting line-up.
Chukwueze’s situation has not changed since the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri, who has used the winger in just one of his first three games as coach.
As a result, Chukwueze hopes that a potential move to Fulham will give him the opportunity to play regular football while also allowing him to try a new challenge in a different league.
Chukwueze and Kevin could be a complement to Marco Silva’s current options on the wings, which include Harry Wilson, Alex Iwobi and Adama Traore.
