The Manchester United star is ready for a change of club this summer after manager Rúben Amorim has asked him to leave the club.

According to reports, Alejandro Garnacho is ready to offer himself to a shocking club after Rúben Amorim pushes him out of Manchester United. As the 2024/25 Premier League season drew to a close, United star Garnacho appears to have played his last game for “The Red Devils”.

Before United’s season opener against Aston Villa at Old Trafford, reports surfaced that manager Amorim had asked the Argentine player to look for a new club this summer.

The report was apparently confirmed by a social media post from the 20-year-old player’s partner before kick-off, leading to speculation about where Garnacho will play next season.

But now, a new report claims that the winger is willing to offer himself to United’s historic rivals Liverpool – a sensational transfer that will undoubtedly annoy both club’s supporters.

After winning the Premier League title in his first season under manager Arne Slot, Liverpool have been linked with several of Europe’s top players in recent weeks, including Bayer Leverkusen duo Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.

And according to Spanish website DefensaCentral, Garnacho wants to be part of Liverpool’s big summer upheaval – on one condition.

Having grown up with Cristiano Ronaldo as his idol, Garnacho reportedly dreams of a move to Real Madrid this summer, mirroring Ronaldo’s move from Old Trafford to the Bernabéu in 2009.

However, if it becomes clear that a move to the Spanish giants is not possible, Liverpool will be on Garnacho’s list of alternative destinations.

It is believed that Garnacho has asked his agents to first explore the possibility of his dream transfer, but also to make it clear that he will be open to joining Liverpool, despite the intense rivalry with Manchester United.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be open to a deal for Garnacho, but with United reportedly expecting a transfer fee of £60m, it is likely that they will only consider a transfer if Luis Díaz leaves the club this summer.
