Sky Sports, the Swedish superstar is in Spain where he trains individually with his former club Real Sociedad. Newcastle aware that Isak has left the British Isles to go to San Sebastián.
Newcastle’s official explanation for why Alexander Isak was not part of the club’s squad for the pre-season tour of Asia was that the Swede is struggling with a minor groin injury. Sky Sports reports that Isak is using Real Sociedad’s training facilities to rehabilitate this injury.

Barely a week ago, the Daily Mail reported that Alexander Isak has informed Newcastle that he wants to explore other club options this summer. Since then, Liverpool have been mentioned as the leading candidate to sign the striker.
Liverpool are said to be ready to offer £120 million, excluding bonuses to sign Isak.
Yesterday, transfer journalist Nicolo Schira reported that Isak has agreed a deal with Liverpool until 2030, with an option for another year, which will give the Swede 13 million euros per year.
Alexander Isak played for Real Sociedad between 2019 and 2022 and scored 44 goals in 132 appearances for the club.
In the event of a sale of Isak, Sky reports that Real Sociedad, via a clause, will receive 10 percent of each pound if the transfer fee exceeds £60 million.
