As I understand, Alexander Søderlund is working on projects such as Trimeriet, façade cleaning and algae. Far from being a football player.
The 37-year-old lives at home in Haugesund and has recently played for Vard Haugesund in the Post Nord league, the club where it all started. Most of his career was for Rosenborg, but there have also been stays abroad. – Swedish BK Häcken, Turkish Çaykur Rizespor and AS Saint-Étienne.
“You never know what’s going to happen”
Alexander Søderlund tells Haugesund’s newspaper that it feels right to quit now, but does not rule out anything about the future: “It’s a bit special to quit, but it feels straight out”
“The time has come to retire and spend more time with family”
Søderlund did not get a new contract with FK Haugesund after the 2023 season in the Eliteserien. He scored two goals in 32 A-caps for Norway in the period 2012 to 2017.
