Ex-Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Esperito Santo has only led West Ham in four games as manager. The Portuguese manager has not had a good start.
On Friday night, West Ham United suffered perhaps one of their worst defeats of the season when they lost 2-1 to Leeds United at Elland Road.
The result leaves West Ham in 19th place in the Premier League table with four points up on the red line. That puts further pressure on Nuno, who replaced Graham Potter in September. – Graham Potter has just taken over a Swedish national team in crisis.

This marks the third consecutive defeat under the Portuguese manager, who is still winless since joining the club after being sacked from Nottingham Forest.
Following the result, it has been revealed that the West Ham board has already decided on Nuno’s future at the club after an emergency meeting about the way forward.
With just four points from their first nine Premier League games this season, West Ham United have equalled their record for the worst start to a league season. The last time West Ham had such a poor start to the season was 52 years ago, during the 1973/74 season, when they narrowly avoided relegation.
Despite this, Sky Sports claim that club officers will not follow in the footsteps of rivals Nottingham Forest by sacking a second manager this season, and plan to keep Nuno for the foreseeable future.
Earlier this season, Nuno was sacked by Forest after just three games this season following a public break with club owner Evangelos Marinakis.
He was then replaced by his former Tottenham colleague, Ange Postecoglou, who lasted just 39 days before he was sacked, thus taking the record as the Premier League’s shortest-serving permanent manager.
Sean Dyche is now on Nottingham Forest’s bench, and the former Burnley and Everton manager led his new club to victory in his first game, a Europa League game against Porto.
Nottingham Forest have only 5 points after 9 games and are below the red line.
But no matter how bad things may get for West Ham this season, they have made it clear that they will keep faith in Nuno, who will be backed by club officials both now and in the January transfer window. It is believed that West Ham have already established that a new striker will be signed in the winter window, as the arrival of free agent Callum Wilson is considered to have not provided enough cover up top.
The club has also realised that reinforcements are also needed in defence, despite the fact that Igor Julio arrived at the transfer day deadline but has so far only played a single minute this season.
But if not, if we are to believe the rhythm of the Nottingham Forest owner, an opportunity for a return to the City Ground opens up in the not too distant future.
