Manchester United star Amad Diallo has spoken out about Marcus Rashford’s impending transfer to Barcelona.
So far in the summer transfer window, Rashford, 27, has been heavily linked with a way out of Old Trafford after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim.

Clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus have all been linked with Rashford, but on Saturday it was reported that the striker is ready for Barcelona.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media:
“BREAKING: Marcus Rashford to Barcelona, here we go! Verbal agreement in principle between all parties involved, with Barça planning medical tests in the coming days. Loan deal with purchase option, details finalized today before Man Utd approve his trip to Spain.”
On Saturday afternoon, United started their pre-season with a 0-0 draw against newly promoted Leeds United at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm.
What has Amad said about Rashford’s transfer?
After the game, Amad was asked about Rashford’s move to Barcelona. According to the Manchester Evening News, he said:
“The only thing I can say is good luck to him, but I’m mostly focused on United and my team.”
Amad was also asked about his teammate Alejandro Garnacho, who is also expected to leave Old Trafford this summer. The Ivorian player replied:
“This is not really my problem. The only thing I’m thinking about now is how we’re going to learn together as a team. That’s the only thing I’m trying to focus on right now.”
Garnacho (21) has been linked with clubs such as Serie A champions Napoli and Premier League rivals Chelsea. It has been claimed that a Garnacho sale would be “very beneficial” for United’s desire to follow the Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Manchester United summer activity
So far this summer, United have signed Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton and Diego Leon from Paraguayan Cerro Porteño. At the same time, Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Rashford’s departure marks a significant shift for United, who are now seeing one of their homegrown stars leave the club after a slump in form last season. The move to Barcelona could give him a fresh start in La Liga – while United will have to find ways to fill the gap he leaves behind.
