Manchester United therefore have quite a job to get the midfield cabal to work out in the next two transfer windows, where Amorim and the United management are not “in sync”.
Before the start of the season, United were keen to sign Brighton’s new star Carlos Baleba. This has led United to turn towards Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton. Transfer journalist Romano claims Ruben Amorim is not as impressed by the two English options.

Baleba’s performances have not been as good as last season, which has led to him being benched for several games by Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler, but Amorim should still look at the Cameroonian as a perfect replacement for Casemiro.
