Amorim played his way to a 4-1 win against City in the Champions League as Sporting manager, in his first city derby as United manager he won 2-1 (thanks to two late goals), followed by a city derby in April to a 0-0 draw.
On Sunday, it will be a blast at the Etihad. Manchester City showed against Tottenham’s (0-2) loss that the City fortress is still not a guarantee of victory as in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
