The Manchester United players celebrated Rasmus Hojlund’s goal as it should have been a final goal. Fully deserved for the 22-year-old, who has received more plague than any other striker in the Premier League for underdelivery. For the United supporters, only saving one point against Bournemouth. A few hours later, there was euphoric celebration at Anfield. Liverpool supporters had something real to celebrate. Ruben Amorim tries to put it in a long-term perspective, but can’t quite convince.

The Liverpool players, with Arne Slot at the helm, were able to celebrate the Premier League title in front of a red crowd at Anfield. This lifts the club up to 20 English league titles, a shared record with Manchester United.

“I remember when I started watching the Premier League it was the opposite, so everything can change. We must focus on one step at a time and not try to think too far ahead. We have an ultimate goal, which is to win the Premier League. But I’m not crazy, I know it won’t be next year,” Amorim says according to The Independent.
