In the last week of the transfer window this winter, Andy Robertson was heavily linked with Tottenham. The London club needed a winner at left-back and in the squad, a player who has cracked the codes of the world’s toughest league. It was clearly a strong push from Tottenham, but Robertson didn’t move, the Scot wanted to end his Liverpool stay with a dignified finish. This week, a lot has happened around the player with 373 games in the red shirt.

On Friday, Liverpool announced that Robertson will leave the club after the end of the season, on Saturday a deal with a new club is announced.

According to the hyperactive transfer journalist Romano, Tottenham are back and have reached a verbal agreement with Robertson. All conditions must be in place, now only the signature is missing, it is reported.

Robertson is not ready to leave the Premier League, so one of the conditions for signing is that Spurs stay afloat up in the top flight.
