The board of the Lisbon-based club has decided not to extend his contract beyond the current season. According to “A Bola”, the negotiations on the renewal agreement have cooled completely. The club is looking to the future and does not plan to keep a player who, despite his undeniable quality, has been absent for 11 official games this year. His annual salary of almost 4 million euros gross also poses a significant burden on the budget.
