However, his loan spell was marred by injury problems, and Broja only made ten Premier League appearances for “The Toffees”.

Chelsea have had no plans to reintegrate him into the first team, especially after bolstering their attacking line with the signings of Liam Delap and João Pedro.

Broja ready for Chelsea exit

As a result, Broja has had to search for a new club that can guarantee him regular playing time at a high level.

According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the 23-year-old attacker is now in the process of completing a move to newly promoted Burnley.

“The Clarets” have reached an agreement with Chelsea on a permanent transfer, and Broja is set to sign a long-term contract.

The player has already been given permission to travel to Burnley to complete the first part of the medical test.

Can Broja relaunch his career at Burnley?

After injuries have put a stop to his development, Broja hopes that a move to Scott Parker’s team can help him get back on track.

A positive factor for Broja is that the pressure will be less at Burnley compared to bigger clubs such as Chelsea and Everton.

Burnley’s goal in his first season back in the Premier League will be to avoid relegation, meaning there are no unrealistic goal demands placed on the strikers.

At the same time, Broja will still have to perform to secure a permanent place in the starting line-up – otherwise he could end up behind players like Zian Flemming and Lyle Foster in the hierarchy.
