Arteta and Oxlade-Chamberlain played together at Arsenal from 2011 and have been involved in many football teams together. On Monday, Sky Sports reported “Ox” was seen on the training ground at Arsenal, now Arteta confirms it with enthusiasm.

“It’s great! He’s a top grade, one of the best characters I’ve met in football. If we can help him, and if we can give him room to get up to speed and have the capacity to find a club, that’s a pleasure,” Arteta begins to the club’s website.
-The boys will learn from it. I had the privilege of playing with him and if he is around the team, he will be a very good role model to have,” Arteta beams.
The boys, are Arsenal’s U21 team. A return to Arsenal’s senior squad is not in the cards for Oxlade-Chamberlain, but we love the “open door” help of a former player.

From 2011 to 2017, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain thundered around the Premier League arena in an Arsenal shirt. Then came the move to Liverpool, who raised around £35 million. In 2023, his contract expired at Anfield, the 32-year-old has been without a club since his exit from Besiktas in the summer.
