French full-back Bacary Sagna knows Paul Pogba well, both as an opponent at Arsenal and Manchester City and for the French national team. Sagna was an Arsenal player from 2007 to 2014 and Manchester City will play for three years after that
Paul Pogba, who just left Juventu, could return to football in a few months after testing positive for doping last year. The midfielder’s four-year suspension was recently shortened to 18 months and in March the 31-year-old will be allowed to play again.
Because he and Juventus recently broke their contracts and there have been rumours of interest from clubs in countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United States. But ESPN recently stated that Pogba will stay in Europe.

Bacary Sagna talks to Mega Dice about the future of Paul Pogba: “I’ve spoken to Paul many times. He loves United. It’s a different situation at Manchester United today compared to when Paul was there before.”
He also believes that United’s new coach Rúben Amorim would like to have the star in the team. “He probably wants a player like Paul in training. Amorim was a player, so I’m sure as a manager he’s open to seeing him there again.”
Pogba has belonged to Man United on two different occasions and scored a total of 39 goals and 48 assists in 233 appearances for the club.
Bacary Sagna ended her career in 2020.
