AC Milan are keen to strengthen several areas, including left-back, as they prepare for Theo Hernandez’s expected exit.

The 27-year-old has turned down the opportunity to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, but talks are now underway about a potential move to Atletico Madrid.

With Hernandez on his way out of the San Siro, Milan consider Arsenal’s Zinchenko a suitable candidate to replace the Frenchman.

AC Milan in talks about Zinchenko
According to Sky Italia, Milan have already held talks about a possible transfer for the Ukrainian international.

However, the report claims that Milan are yet to reach an agreement with Arsenal and that the player’s wage demands could also become an obstacle.

Zinchenko is understood to earn £150,000 a week at the Emirates Stadium, as he approaches the final 12 months of his contract.

The Gunners are aware that the summer transfer window is the last chance to get a meaningful sum for the 28-year-old defender.

What is Zinchenko’s selling price?
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan can take advantage of Zinchenko’s contract situation by striking a deal with Arsenal for a reasonable fee.

The Rossoneri seem confident that they can secure the player for less than €15 million (£12.8 million).

Zinchenko is likely to be open to a summer departure after falling behind Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

As a result, the full-back made just eight appearances from the start in 23 competitive appearances in the 2024/25 season.
