Quiet summer – but now it’s happening
So far, “The Gunners” have had a quiet summer, with the club only linked to expensive strikers such as Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres. But now things seem to be picking up.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have closed two deals this week:

  1. Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea has been confirmed
  2. Christian Norgaard from Brentford is also ready

More reinforcements on the way
In addition, Spanish AS reports that Arsenal have reached an agreement on Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera.

At the same time, Ben Jacobs of GIVEMESPORT confirms that Ebere Eze has been added to Arsenal’s wish list.

Why these players?

  • Mosquera will provide cover in defence, where Arsenal are missing – especially as a backup for William Saliba.
  • Eze is a possible solution on the left wing, but can also play as a playmaker or in a deeper midfield role.

Price tag and future goals

  • Eze’s release clause is for £68 million (€68M).
  • If Arsenal sign Zubimendi, Norgaard, Kepa, Mosquera and Eze, they could spend up to £150 million – before bringing in a new striker (Sesko or Gyokeres).

Eze is currently valued at €55 million by Transfermarkt.

Main goal on the wing still Rodrygo
Arsenal’s primary target on the wing still is Rodrygo from Real Madrid, with Anthony Gordon also high on the list.

With more signings in the pipeline, it looks like Arsenal’s summer is finally underway.
