Arsenal have set a deadline for the Benjamin Sesko transfer to be resolved!
Arsenal are still working on a deal with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko, but could consider other goal machines if negotiations do not yield results very soon.

Sesko has long been Mikel Arteta’s number one priority, talks with Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyökeres are taking place in parallel.
This means that Arsenal are ready to shift their focus towards finalising a deal for Gyökeres if RB Leipzig do not become more flexible on the Sesko deal in the coming days.
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal will “consider other options after June 15”. There have been several reports that Arsenal are getting impatient, but most are not giving a date. Regardless of what is rumored, they will be ready before the window opens again on June 16th.
Arsenal do not want to pay Sesko’s €80 million release clause, and this is where the problem lies at the moment. RB Leipzig, on the other hand, are thundering on and have, on the advice of Red Bull’s head of global football, Jürgen Klopp, come up with a proposal for an extension until 2030.
As usual, there has been an insane salary offer for Sesko from Saudi Arabia, but the 22-year-old feels too young to play retirement football.
Sporting director Andrea Berta has also kept in touch with Gyökeres, who is also a target for Manchester United, so this could be a situation to follow in the coming days.

“Sesko is still high on Arsenal’s list. He is a player they want and they contacted RB Leipzig about ten days ago,” Fabrizio Romano revealed.
“Arsenal have spoken directly with the club and also with the player’s representatives, so they are actively working on the Benjamin Sesko case.”
“Another player Arsenal are considering is Viktor Gyökeres – a different type of player with different skills and a different price tag.”
