Andre Onana was promising at Ajax, impressive at Inter Milan, but has proven to be very unstable at Manchester United. Although the Cameroonian international goalkeeper has mostly been linked to an exit from Old Trafford over the past year, he is keen to show he was highly sought after not too long ago.
In the summer of 2022, Onana walked out of Ajax as a free agent, Inter Milan convinced the goalkeeper of the San Siro. Here it was a season with 3rd place in Serie A and Champions League final. In the summer of 2023, Erik ten Hag pushed for a move to Old Trafford that cost United around €55 million.

Now Onana says he could have chosen the Premier League as early as 2022, then Emirates or Stamford Bridge.
“I had the opportunity at Nice, Monaco and Atletico Madrid. I also had the opportunity at Chelsea and Arsenal,” Onana says in an interview with Le Media Carré.
