Even experts outside Norway point to Martin Ødegaard’s injury break as a very important reason why Arsenal have lost their grip on the Premier League title.
It will be bought as early as January and some of the money needed will come from the sale of three players.

While injuries have played a big part, having the seventh-best attacking stats is no use if you intend to win the Premier League. Only one player – Kai Havertz – has scored more than three goals in the Premier League.
To have a realistic opportunity midway through the season to add a quality attacking player, they need to make money.
As a result, it has become a realistic possibility midway through the campaign to add another attack-minded player, whether it’s a winger, number 10, or center forward.
Football Insider, citing former scout Mick Brown as a source, Arsenal could be looking to sell Kieran Tierney, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus when the market reopens in six weeks’ time.

Brown said: “There are three players at the club they want to sell.
“And that’s Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney. They are not in the manager’s plans. When it comes to selling, you need to look at who your belongings are.
“If they feel like they need to raise money, they have these players that they’re far more likely to turn to. It will take a large chunk of the salary bill and help them reinvest in strengthening their squad.”
When Zinchenko and Jesus arrived from Manchester City in 2022, they were immediately recognized as players ready to play into the starting lineup. Come 2024-25 and the pair have only managed one Premier League start each. Jesus in particular has stayed fit for most games, and has made another eight games.
Their versatility in different positions means that they will remain valuable players for as long as they remain at the Emirates Stadium, but their prices will only drop if they remain at their current pitch.
Meanwhile, Tierney has not played a single game all season due to the hamstring injury he sustained while representing Scotland at Euro 2024.
