According to the club’s official statement via there Twitter account, Barcelona will return to Spotify Camp Nou against the Basque club with a capacity of 45,400 spectators. The club has received the necessary approvals for this.
Barcelona could have moved back earlier with the 1A license, but that would have limited the capacity to just 27,000 spectators. In contrast, their temporary home ground at the Montjuic Stadium has almost twice the capacity.
Many first-team players will be playing at Camp Nou for the first time in their careers. Earlier this month, when the club arranged an open training session at the stadium, the turnout and atmosphere were fantastic.
