Hailed as the player chock-full of Man Utd DNA. -He also had a bit of a hard time with the generational change at United. If you look at United over the last five years, they’ve struggled to rebuild the team and get stronger again. He was there in the middle of it. It’s not easy for a player that people expect a lot from. When you’re an important player, you have a lot of responsibility,” Deco explains.

Rashford has received a lot of praise from his own supporters and pundits since his fantastic 2022/23 season with 30 goals and 12 assists in 56 games. Deco believes the responsibility for the “fall” must be placed on the club.
