According to German media, highly valued talent Noah Darvich is on his way away from Barcelona to Stuttgart after only two years at the club.
The 18-year-old arrived at the Blaugrana in 2023 in a much-talked-about transfer worth €2.5 million from Bundesliga club Freiburg. Darvich had just been recognized as one of Germany’s greatest talents after receiving the silver Fritz Walter medal at U17 level, and he arrived in Catalonia with very high expectations.

The striker landed a lucrative contract with a staggering €1 billion buyout clause, as Barcelona were convinced he could make the step up to the first team in the near future and become one of the greats.
Setback for Darvich
Two years later, despite opportunities to train with the first team and the hiring of compatriot Hansi Flick, Darvich has been disappointed by the lack of playing time.
Germany’s U19 captain has not been given any first-team games and is not even guaranteed a place in the starting line-up for Barca Atletic. Unsurprisingly, the young player is now desperate to get away from Barcelona, and a return to Germany is on the way.

Darvich ready for Stuttgart
According to Sky Germany and Kicker, Bundesliga club Stuttgart are in the process of securing Darvich in a transfer that will take him to his childhood club’s local rivals.
Curiously, Stuttgart seem to have done a great deal, as they are reportedly set to pay less than €1 million for him – far below his €1 billion clause and even below his original transfer fee of €2.5 million.
Darvich has signed a contract until 2029, with no buyout clause or buy-back right for Barcelona. The Blaugrana will also not have the opportunity to match bids or buy him back in the future.
Due to his age, Darvich is not expected to be an immediate starter for Stuttgart, but he is seen as a long-term replacement for France international Enzo Millot. Millot is expected to leave the club this summer, as he could be bought for €20 million via a buyout clause.
