Before the New Year, Tottenham and other clubs were linked with Harry Kane. The goal machine had not come close to seeming dissatisfied with life in the Bayern Munich shirt, finally has his league gold and is well on his way to the next one. What made Harry Kane a candidate in the winter transfer market was the announcement of a “moderate” buyout clause that could be activated in January, if Kane wanted to exit. January came, Kane commented dryly that he has no reason to change clubs – and continued to hammer in goals for the Bundesliga giant.
Last month, the Bayern boss stated they planned talks with Kane about an extension beyond 2027, now the Germans have made a smart move. Here it is not negotiated with the agent, here it is first discussed with Kane about how Bayern and Kane will take new titles in the coming seasons.

The club’s sporting director Max Eberl is happy to share with the world and suitors about the process.
“We’re talking. This does not mean that the negotiations have started yet. We are in intense dialogue with Harry and then we will follow the next steps,” Eberl told Sky Sports.
