The RB Leipzig star has been linked with several big clubs this summer.

Benjamin Sesko may have given a big hint about his future after Arsenal shelved plans to sign the RB Leipzig striker.

After months of rumours linking Sesko to a move to the Emirates, it seems that negotiations have broken down in recent weeks. While Arsenal are instead focusing on a deal for Sporting star Viktor Gyökeres, questions have arisen about what will be Sesko’s next step.

With several of football’s biggest clubs clearly on the hunt for a new striker this summer, it looks like Sesko could have several big options to choose from if he wants to leave Leipzig in the coming weeks.

But it seems that he may have given a big hint about his ideal destination, after his recent social media activity was discovered.

Arsenal are not the only Premier League club believed to be on the hunt for a striker this summer, with clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United also keen to bolster their attacking line.

Nevertheless, fans believe that Sesko has already decided which English club he wants to join before the start of next season – Liverpool.

In a social media post, a fan pointed out that the 22-year-old recently followed Liverpool on Instagram, while also pinning his post from RB Leipzig’s game against Liverpool.

Reacting to the news, one fan wrote
: “I think Benjamin Sesko is a real option for Liverpool. Wouldn’t mind it personally. Very interesting profile.”

Another added:
“Benjamin Sesko to Liverpool, who says no?”

But others have expressed concern about the Slovenian striker’s goalscoring tally last season, where Sesko scored just 13 goals in 33 Bundesliga games.

Sesko’s social media activity comes just one day after a report by TBR Football revealed that Sesko’s representatives recently reached out to Liverpool and other potential Premier League suitors to gauge interest in a transfer.

However, if a move to the Premier League is not possible, it is believed that Sesko would prefer to stay at RB Leipzig next season and reconsider his options in January or even next summer.
