Pep Guardiola and Manchester City were supposed to use the summer to end the season with at least one trophy. Defeat to Saudi Arabian club in the Club World Cup, while Chelsea went all the way to the title and more than £100 million in prize money, was also an ugly scratch for Guardiola, Haaland and the rest of the City squad. Now Puma show that the belief in Guardiola and City is still great. Record-breaking.

The Manchester Evening News reports the contract, which is now being extended until 2034/35, is the largest in Premier League history. Around £1 billion will be shoved into City’s club coffers from Puma during the period.
Manchester City reports the collaboration with Puma has set new records on a global level when it comes to sales of Manchester City shirts and other clothing, an extension was only natural for both parties.
Here there is not much to testify to a club that is threatened with fines and relegation for violating Financial Fair Play rules, or a club that last season went on a complete halt in the title collection.
