This came just after Lazio had suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Bologna. Ange Postecoglou can no longer blame poor results with injury, the Europa League is the only thing that can give the club a sporting and financial boost.
Does this mean that Postecoglou will keep his job if he leads Spurs to victories over Bodø/Glimt and wins the final? According to The Telegraph, Spurs management will most likely sack the Australian two years early, regardless of whether it ends up with a title in the Europa League and Champions League ticket.
