Normally, Bodø/Glimt have had great success with Danish players, but with the Danish right winger Mathias Jørgensen, it has been a little slower. This summer, Mathias Jørgensen went to Bodø/Glimt on a transfer from Aalborg worth 3 million euros, where he has had great difficulty establishing himself in the starting lineup.
The newspaper Nordland writes that Jørgensen is very close to being sold to a Championship club.

The 25-year-old Dane has already left Bodø and headed for England to carry out a medical test as soon as possible, provided that Bodø/Glimt and the buyers’ club reach an agreement on the financial framework for a deal.
Tipsbladet has later written that it is Blackburn Rovers who are close to signing Jørgensen.
The winger, who as recently as Tuesday scored the 2-1 goal in Bodø/Glimt’s last test match in Spain against Diósgyőr, was according to Avisa Nordland not seen at the stadium when the rest of the team carried out a light training session on Thursday.
Jørgensen has played 15 games for Bodø/Glimt since he left AaB. In those games, he has scored five goals.
