FC Midtjylland has sold Ola Brynhildsen to the one Bodø/Glimt in what the Danish media refer to as a “king’s deal” both because of the money, but also how good it is for the player himself.
It started earlier today when Brynhildsen was observed at the airport on her way to northern Norway to complete the transfer and that it was picked up

“It’s incredibly nice. I’ve been waiting for it for a little while now, so it’s incredibly good to be back. It will be good to settle down a bit, says Ola Brynhildsen to glimt.no.
Tipsbladet reveals that FC Midtjylland is making a very sensible deal.
The “wolves” thus earn two million euros – here and now on the sale of Ola Brynhildsen, Tipsbladet can reveal, after NRK wrote on Monday that FC Midtjylland “had agreed to lower their demands” of just over three million euros.

But it is especially via bonuses that the trade can prove to be particularly lucrative for FC Midtjylland.
Tipsbladet can reveal that the midfielder can earn an additional four million euros via various bonuses that are considered to be achievable. In addition, FC Midtjylland will also get a resale clause of as much as 20 percent, so that a future Bodø/Glimt sale of Ola Brynhildsen can also benefit the Danes.
All in all, it is a very good deal for a player who has hardly made it to FC Midtjylland or was exposed to a big role, just as he sat out with an injury for almost the entire autumn as a loan player in Bodø/Glimt.
However, 26-year-old Ola Brynhildsen has a big name in Norway, where he has previously been a star in Molde, while in the autumn he impressed in his one game as a loan player in Bodø/Glimt.
Brynhildsen played in Glimt also this autumn. The striker came on loan from Denmark, but after an injury in the first leg, he did not get any more minutes during his stay. Since then, the striker has been injured, but now he is nearing a comeback.
“I’ve fought my way back, but I had to have a small operation. I’ll soon be ready to play matches again, so I’m looking forward to it. Things are going very well now,” says Brynhildsen.
The league start against KBK on Easter Sunday may come too soon, but Brynhildsen is clear that it is not the injury that is holding him back.
