Bodø/Glimt ended the season in the best possible and exciting way. – First secured the Eliteserien gold in the last league round and then won the last Europa League match of the year.
Bodø/Glimt is not only Norway’s best football club, but after success both on the player market and on the pitch also Norway’s richest club. Uefa has so far in the season secured Bodø/Glimt about 15 million euros.
Some of this money will be used to buy two returning heroes who are on loan.
Of course, it is much more fun to be part of Bodø/Glimt’s success train than to sit on the bench for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Jens Petter Hauge, who is at home on loan in Bodø/Glimt, is open to continuing in the future. “If they want me, I’m guessing they’ll get a bid that will be accepted,” Jens Petter Hauge says to VG, without having spoken to his club Eintracht Frankfurt yet after Thursday’s Europa League triumph.
Bodø/Glimt had an option to buy for 5 million euros in the loan deal with the German club, but they now let it expire. – Now they are going for a somewhat lower price, but a price that will probably also be a buying record. – The same should be the case for Philip Zinckernagel, who was a great success the last time he was at Bodø/Glimt. The Danish left winger joined Watford for free in the winter of 2021.
In the last week leading up to Christmas, Bodø/Glimt will negotiate with Eintracht Frankfurt for a reduced price on Jens Petter Hauge and Club Brugge, who have not planned with Philip Zinckernagel going forward. Rumours from Aspmyra say that 5 million euros have been set aside for these negotiations.
