Emil Kornvig (25) is done at Brann and ready for Widzew Lodz, who are in the relegation battle in the Polish league.

Widzew Lodz find themselves in the place above relegation from the Ekstraklasa on goal difference.

Brann has sold Danish midfielder Emil Kornvig (25) to Polish club Widzew Lodz. The transfer has now been confirmed by the Bergen club. – Transfermarkt reports that the transfer is worth €4 million, which is exactly ten times what Brann bought from Italian club AS Cittadella in 2024.

Kornvig said goodbye in the dressing room after Thursday’s 3-3 draw against Midtjylland in the Europa League. Kornvig was heavily involved in Brann taking an important point in the Europa League match against FC Midtjylland on Thursday night. He scored the goal that secured the equalizer to 2-2 with a fierce penalty. The game ended 3–3 after Brann scored on another penalty, ten minutes into injury time.
