- On Rosenborg’s website, Nordli says it is a dream come true.
When the 25-year-old was named best player in the Superliga, Randers FC was quick to say it was the first time anyone from the club had received that honor.
The club confirms on its website that the 25-year-old forward has signed a contract that lasts until the end of the 2029 season.
Childhood dream comes true
“This is absolutely incredible. A big dream come true, so I’m very happy,” says Nordli.
“I’ve been a Rosenborg supporter since childhood and always dreamed of playing for the club. This means a lot to me.
Impressive statistics
RBK’s new striker was named player of the year in the Danish Superliga last season after recording 14 goals and 12 assists.
The transfer was made possible through a buyout clause that Rosenborg chose to use, despite the fact that Nordli originally had one year left on his contract with Randers.
Ready for new challenges
“I’ve had good years in Denmark and developed step by step. Now I really feel ready to be able to contribute in Rosenborg, says the versatile attacking player.
Nordli has primarily played as a left winger in Denmark, but is known for his flexibility. He has previous experience from Norwegian football through stays in Aalesund and HamKam.
The transfer marks a significant strengthening of Rosenborg’s offensive for the rest of the season.
