On Friday, Bryan Mbeumo was awarded the Premier League’s Player of the Month award. Thomas Frank thinks this is anything but a coincidence, Manchester United have acquired a one-of-a-kind.
Frank coached Mbeumo for six years at Brentford, and has been behind the football education for the Cameroonian international. Man Utd and Amorim are now benefiting from this.

“When you work with a player for six years, you get a close relationship,” Frank begins, according to ESPN.
“To see him develop from being a young man, 19 years old and just moved to London, to six years later and moving to one of the biggest clubs in the world with all that focus and the way he’s got into it. For me, seen from the outside, but maybe a little colored, I think he has been their best offensive player. He can create, score, work hard. He’s a team player. He is the perfect example of what I want to see in terms of attitude: confident but humble,” the Tottenham coach boasts.
