Italian media: Pioli fired after another loss

The management has issued an ultimatum, says journalist Nicolo Schira:

If Fiorentina doesn’t win against Lecce on Sunday at home at the Stadio Artemio Franchi – then Stefano Pioli will be fired.

Pioli took over “La Viola” this summer, but the start has been anything but good. Fiorentina have not won any of their nine opening games in Serie A and are currently second jumbo in the table with just four points after nine games.

This has led to Milan’s former gold medal coach being under pressure.

Fiorentina has already created a list of possible replacements. Thiago Motta, Paolo Vanoli, Daniele De Rossi and Alessandro Nesta are the candidates that we know of so far.
