Real Madrid could dismiss Ancelotti in the coming weeks.
The Italian’s position at the Bernabeu is starting to look increasingly vulnerable, particularly after Tuesday night’s chastening 3-1 defeat to AC Milan.
The patience of Real Madrid’s management is reportedly wearing thin amid the team’s recent poor performances, and it seems the club’s leadership is considering making head coach Carlo Ancelotti the scapegoat.
According to Relevo, if Ancelotti does not steer the team back onto a winning path in the coming weeks, Real Madrid’s management is prepared to relieve him of his duties.

Real have now lost their last two matches, with the defeat to Milan coming less than two weeks after a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Barcelona in El Clasico.

They are already nine points behind their fierce rivals, albeit having played one game less.
Although an in-season dismissal of the Italian was not initially on the agenda, the team’s results have placed Ancelotti’s future in jeopardy. Just weeks ago, such an outcome was hardly considered at the Santiago Bernabéu, but sources now suggest it’s a real possibility.
To make matters worse, several of Real’s best players look like shadows of their usual selves.
Jude Bellingham has gone nearly six months without finding the net.
Then there’s Kylian Mbappe. When he joined the club from PSG back in the summer, everybody expected him to take the Bernabeu by storm.
But that hasn’t been the case. While the 25-year-old has bagged eight goals from 15 matches across all competitions, he’s yet to live up to expectations throughout his time at the club so far.
The fact that none of the areas of the team are functioning is a symptom of Ancelotti being one of the primary problems.
Los Blancos host Osasuna this weekend at the Bernabeu, before traveling to Leganes and then a key clash with Liverpool in the Champions League at Anfield.
Many expect Xabi Alonso to take over next summer, but it would be an awkward task for Real Madrid to find a stopgap.
