The Newcastle captain was brought to St. James’ Park in January 2022 and has played his way into one of the Premier League’s best central/defensive midfielders. This season, the 28-year-old has 9 goals and 4 assists in 23 Premier League games.
It is not the first time Guimaraes has been linked with Man Utd, now it is reported that Casemiro has recommended the club to go for the Brazilian manager at St. James’ Park with a contract expiry in 2028.
