It is not the first time Kjetil Knutsen has been linked to big clubs, but English Givemesport goes a long way in launching Bodø/Glimt’s successful coach as the perfect one for Celtic. The Scottish big club not only should, but must bring in the Norwegian.

“Kjetil Knutsen’s contract expires at the end of the year, which could be the perfect opportunity for Celtic to secure the fantastic tactician,” writes Givemesport enthusiastically, highlighting Knutsen’s football genius. The Glimt coach himself has a very relaxed relationship with the constant linking to European big clubs.

After the weekend’s 5-0 win against FK Bryne, Knutsen responded to the rumours of interest from Celtic.

“Nothing is certain in life. I’m here now and I’m happy, and then we can look forward to a good football game. It’s hopeless to answer questions about other clubs,” Knutsen begins to TV2.

Then it comes.

“I answer as I always do – it has to be something very special if something is to be more exciting than Glimt,” Knutsen concludes.

We don’t understand that Celtic, even with the legend Kasper Schmeichel on the line, should be more exciting than Bodø/Glimt. The Scottish big club will probably have to look further.
