The 30-year-old has been placed in the so-called “bombsquad”, or status as undesirable in the first-team squad and ready to be dumped. Maresca answers questions about Sterling (and Axel Disasi) before this weekend’s game.

“They are Chelsea players, but at the moment they are training separately and the plan is to continue like this. Since the season started, I haven’t seen any of them. I haven’t seen Axel or Raheem. They train at a different time and on a different pitch. I haven’t seen them since the start of the season,” Enzo Maresca said according to BBC Sport.
Haven’t seen Sterling since August.
