There was no goal on Brentford right winger Bryan Mbeumo in today’s 4 – 3 win over Manchestester United at the Gtech Community Stadium, but an assist.

The 25-year-old switched from the French youth national team to his second home country Cameroon in 2022 because of the chance to play for the national team under Didier Deschamps.

At 25 years old, Mbeumo has already proven that he can perform at the top level in England. His speed, dribbling ability on the wings and goal danger have made him one of the most sought-after attackers at the moment. The London-based club does not want to miss the opportunity and is preparing an offer that could see Brentford release him.

Negotiations in progress

It is currently unclear whether Brentford will accept the offer, but the amount is significant and could pave the way for negotiations in the weeks to come. However, Chelsea are showing firm interest, and all indications are that they will do their utmost to secure the Cameroonian striker in the summer.

With this move, Chelsea hope to strengthen their squad and return to the fight for top positions in the Premier League. Mbeumo’s history at Brentford may be coming to an end, and his next destination seems to be closer to Stamford Bridge.
